Clearly, the team here at Savored takes our dining very seriously. In fact, we love going out so much that we keep a running list of places we’ve been and all the fabulous tips on what to eat, when to go where and other insider info. Since we’re so fond of you all, we’ll let you in on our little secrets. Here’s a roundup of our February favorites!
Corrie M. dined on duck and Vietnamese beef at Betel where she “LOVED the food” and marveled at how lively the scene was on a Tuesday night.
Weekend evenings are the perfect nights to visit La Palapa. One Saturday evening, Shaina F. claims to have eaten “every taco on the menu” washing them down with “amazing margaritas that were all natural and made with fresh fruit puree”. I myself made a Sunday Funday trip with a group of four where we dined on guacamole and tender fish tacos.
Out of town and out of control (delicious, that is) – Maureen O. visited ZENTAN on a recent foray to Washington, D.C.. The bar area in this “DC swank” resto was bumping when she enjoyed a sushi platter and crunchy vegetable dumplings with her two friends.
Out in BK, Gerardo D. got the VIP treatment at Autour du Monde, where he feasted on a “pan seared boneless filet of trout served with quinoa and sauteed garlic sage butternut squash with almond citrus sweet chili sauce”. Hungry? YES!
Celeb Spotting! Cassie Y. dined beside the faboosh weather-watcher, Al Roker at Girasole in NYC. Al’s crew was celebrating a milestone birthday and Cassie’s party celebrated 30% off grilled Portobello mushrooms with fresh vegetables, Chicken della Nonna and sautéed zucchini!
Check back each month to learn where the Savored team is spotted dining about town!
